KEYNOTE WITH JIGAR SHAH
Jigar Shah is an energy entrepreneur, investor, and strategist named to the 2024 TIME100 list of the world’s most influential people. He hosts Energy Empire, a podcast focused on the people, capital, and major decisions shaping the future of energy.
From 2021 to 2025, Jigar led the U.S. Department of Energy’s Loan Programs Office, directing capital toward American energy, onshore manufacturing, first-of-a-kind projects, and tribal energy. Earlier, he founded SunEdison, served as founding CEO of the Carbon War Room, and co-founded Generate Capital, where he served as president.
In 2025, he co-founded Multiplier and became founding advisory chair of Deploy Action, a nonprofit focused on grid reliability, regional coordination, and consumer affordability. He is also the author of Creating Climate Wealth: Unlocking the Impact Economy.
